Biography

Born in Dennison, Ohio, Walcamp headed to the East Coast in search of acting jobs on the stage after she finished her formal education. After landing various roles in New York, she eventually landed a role in 1913's The Werewolf when she was 19 years old. Walcamp would not appear in another picture until Coral in 1915.

The following year would be the busiest of her film career when she appeared in four productions including a role in Liberty (1916). By the mid 1920s, Walcamp appeared in only five features, her final film being In a Moment of Temptation in 1927. She had appeared in 107 films between 1913 and 1927.

On November 17, 1936, Walcamp committed suicide from an overdose of medication.[1] She was 42 years old.
